MCDP is established in 1998 G.C. to contribute to the effort being made at national level to eliminate poverty and enable the people of Ethiopia to lead a self-reliant life. The organization has accomplished reasonable success in working among the poorest of the poor in both urban and rural areas through implementing various development projects. The organization also strives to end the exploitation of children and women in different places of the country who are the ultimate hopes for the country’s sovereign existence. This effort was made possible not only by the sole effort of MCDP but with unreserved cooperation and assistance of our partners/actors and the community. I believe, it is imperative to join hand in hand with all actors to bring a lasting solution to the problem of disadvantage segment of the society.
